About Dassam Falls — The 10-Stream Cascade of Bundu
Also known as Da-song Falls in the local Mundari dialect (translating to "gathering of ten waters"), Dassam Falls is where the mighty Kanchi River tumbles dramatically over a jagged 44-meter (144-foot) cliff ledge. The rushing streams crash into a deep granite basin producing towering water spray and thunderous acoustics.
Its proximity to the smooth four-lane Ranchi-Tata Highway (NH-33) makes it one of the most comfortable outstation trips from Ranchi. Paved walking paths, clean viewing platforms with safety railings, and adjacent roadside tea stalls offer a delightful family excursion.
